This Privacy Policy explains how eSIM Tech B.V. ("eSIM.tech", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit our website, contact us, or use our eSIM reseller platform and API.

For the personal data described in this policy, eSIM Tech B.V. acts as the data controller. Where we process end-customer data on behalf of resellers using our platform, we act as a data processor on the reseller's instructions.
2. What data we collect
Website visitors
- Contact form data: name, company, email address, and the contents of your message.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected through our hosting provider's standard logs and (where enabled) privacy-friendly analytics with IP anonymisation.
Platform and API customers
- Account data: name, company details, billing address, VAT number, email address, and authentication credentials.
- Usage data: API requests, provisioned eSIMs (ICCIDs), data consumption, and billing records.
- Connectivity data: technical data required to deliver mobile connectivity, such as SIM identifiers and network events. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.
3. Why we process this data
- To perform our contract with you — providing the platform, provisioning eSIMs, billing, and support (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To respond to enquiries you send via our contact form (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- To comply with legal obligations — tax, accounting, and telecom regulations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Legitimate interests — securing our infrastructure, preventing fraud and abuse, and improving our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. GDPR & EU infrastructure
Our platform runs on 100% European cloud infrastructure, and we process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Where we engage sub-processors (for example hosting or email providers), we ensure appropriate data processing agreements are in place. If data is ever transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Resellers processing end-customer data through our platform can request a data processing agreement (DPA) by contacting info@esim.tech.
5. How long we keep data
- Contact enquiries: up to 12 months after the last contact, unless a customer relationship follows.
- Account and billing data: for the duration of the customer relationship, and thereafter as long as required by Dutch tax law (generally 7 years).
- Technical logs: typically 30–90 days, unless needed longer for security investigations.
6. Who we share data with
We share personal data only where necessary to provide our services:
- Mobile network operators and connectivity partners, to deliver eSIM services
- Hosting, email, and payment providers acting as processors under a DPA
- Authorities, where we are legally required to do so
We do not sell personal data.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email info@esim.tech. We respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, API authentication, and logging. No system is perfectly secure; if a data breach occurs that affects your rights, we will notify you and the supervisory authority as required by law.
9. Cookies
Our website uses functional cookies and, where enabled, analytics with IP anonymisation. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes affecting platform customers will be announced by email.
